IV conscious sedation is designed for patients who feel nervous or fearful about dental visits. Treatment is customized after discussing each patient’s comfort level and concerns.

Before the procedure, patients receive medication to help them relax and will need someone to drive them to the appointment. Once at the office, treatment takes place in a private setting where an IV catheter delivers medication that creates a deeper state of relaxation.

Patients remain comfortable throughout treatment and often have little or no memory of the procedure afterward. Because patients are relaxed, multiple procedures can often be completed during a single visit.
